5 Summer Staples

Gingham: This is THE print of 2015. Celebs are wearing it everywhere and it saturated runway shows at Fashion Week. To be honest, it can be hard to pull off. Gingham channels the Little House on the Prairie kind of sweetness, Dorothy from Wizard of Oz and picnic tablecloths. To wear it, invest in separates. I would suggest a flouncy skirt or a shoe. If you want to cut through the sugar, try gingham in a bustier style shirt, mix a little riske with the saccharine .
A floral wrap dress: wrap dresses look great on most bodies.
The versatility of wrap dresses make them a popular choice as they are easy to adjust. They have an air of easy elegance. Think about investing in a piece with lots of colour, a tropical floral or a solid bright. Make sure the dress has a fabric that's not too bulky.
Navy denim: Navy denim never really goes out of style and you can pair it with just about everything. It's a summer staple for 2015, but a good pair of jeans will carry you right into the fall. I love the way dark jeans contrasts with summer whites and brown leather sandals. If you have an hourglass or apple shape, grab a dark denim pencil skirt, find one that's a little distressed. This skirt will fit with any boho blouse you find along the way. There are many styles of jeans that are office appropriate. Clean navy jeans look chic with tailored blouses and blazers.
Boho sandals: it's the summer of the flower child. I just bought a great pair of leather easy-wear sandals with suede and bead fringe. Really cool. Really trendy.
A bathing suit that screams "looks at my sexy curves."
Torrid has a whole line of fantastic swimsuits. Flaunt what you got. These bathing suits have so many built in curves you'll want to leave the coverup at home.
